Live Session Production

Authentic Live Performance Videos for Musicians & Bands

A live session captures something a studio recording can't: the energy, musicianship and personality of a genuine performance. Whether recorded in a studio, rehearsal space, unique location or intimate venue, live sessions give audiences the opportunity to experience your music in a more honest and immediate way.

At Flux Bros, we produce live session videos for musicians, bands and music professionals across London, Hampshire and the UK. Combining professional cinematography with high-quality live audio capture, we create performance-led films that showcase your music exactly as it's played, helping artists build trust with audiences while creating valuable content for release campaigns, social media and Electronic Press Kits.

Whether you're performing a stripped-back acoustic arrangement, a full-band session or an exclusive live performance, we'll help create a session that feels authentic to your music while delivering professional results.

What is Live Session Production?

Unlike a traditional music video, a live session captures an authentic musical performance recorded in real time. Rather than synchronising visuals to a completed studio track, the audio and video are captured together, allowing audiences to experience the performance as it happened.

This creates a different viewing experience. Live sessions highlight musicianship, vocal ability and the chemistry between performers, making them particularly valuable for artists looking to build credibility and connect with audiences on a more personal level.

Live session content is commonly used across YouTube, social media, Electronic Press Kits, artist websites and promotional campaigns. It also provides booking agents, promoters and festivals with an opportunity to experience how an artist performs beyond the studio recording.

While the performance remains the focus, every session is carefully planned to ensure the lighting, framing, location and visual style complement the music without distracting from it.

Why Choose Flux Bros?

Producing a successful live session requires more than placing cameras in front of a band. It requires balancing technical precision with creative storytelling, ensuring every performance feels natural while maintaining a professional visual standard.

At Flux Bros, we approach live sessions as carefully designed productions. Camera movement, lighting, composition and editing are all considered to enhance the performance without taking attention away from the music itself.

Because we also produce music videos, promotional photography and Electronic Press Kits, we understand how live session content fits into a wider release strategy. A single session can generate a hero performance video alongside shorter edits, behind-the-scenes footage and promotional photography, giving artists a collection of content from one production day.

Whether you're an emerging artist looking to demonstrate your live performance or an established band creating exclusive content for your audience, we'll tailor every production to suit your music and creative identity.

What we can produce

Recent Music Projects

Live session production is about creating performances that feel authentic, engaging and true to the artist. Over the years, we've worked with musicians across a variety of live formats, capturing everything from intimate acoustic performances to multi-camera studio sessions.

In partnership with Backyard Echoes in Brighton, Flux Bros produced a series of live session videos featuring artists including Matias Mardigras, Alex Evans (World News) and Emma Seeberg. Each session was designed to showcase the artist's performance in a relaxed, professionally produced environment, creating content that audiences could experience as though they were in the room.

We've also worked with folk duo Aaron & Nick, capturing an intimate showcase at The Dog and Bell in Deptford, documenting the atmosphere of a live performance while preserving the natural interaction between the artists and their audience.

Exploring different production styles, we produced a 20-minute immersive live session with The New America, filmed in Southampton using a 360° camera. The project demonstrated how innovative filming techniques can create a unique viewing experience while remaining focused on the authenticity of the performance.

Whether recording a single acoustic performance or producing a series of live sessions, our goal remains the same: to create engaging performance-led content that allows artists to connect with audiences through genuine musicianship.
