Architectural & Property Photography That Shows Spaces at Their Best
Professional photography plays an important role in communicating the design, character and quality of a property. Carefully considered imagery can showcase architectural details, materials, interiors and spatial relationships while giving prospective clients, buyers and audiences a clear sense of the finished space.
At Flux Bros, we provide real estate and architectural photography for architects, developers, property professionals and businesses across London, Hampshire and the UK. We create considered imagery for completed developments, residential and commercial properties, architectural portfolios, publications and marketing campaigns.
Our approach goes beyond simply documenting a room. We consider composition, perspective, natural light, materiality and the relationship between different spaces to create photographs that communicate the intent behind the property as well as what it looks like.
What is Real Estate Photography?
Real estate photography is the professional photography of buildings, interiors and spaces for use across property marketing, architectural portfolios, publications and digital platforms.
While conventional property photography often focuses on presenting a property for sale or rental, architectural and design-led photography takes a more considered approach. The aim is not simply to show that a space exists, but to communicate its character, design and relationship with its surroundings.
This can involve photographing an entire development, individual interiors, architectural details, materials, landscaping and the wider environment around a property. Different perspectives and compositions can then be used to create a comprehensive visual record of the project.
The intended use of the imagery also influences the approach. Photography for an architect's portfolio may focus on design details and material choices, while property marketing may require a broader collection of images showing the scale, functionality and appeal of the space.
At Flux Bros, we consider the purpose of the photography before the shoot so that the final collection is not only visually strong but genuinely useful.
Why Choose Flux Bros?
Good property photography requires more than finding an attractive angle. It requires an understanding of how spaces are designed, how people experience them and which details communicate the quality of a project.
We take a considered approach to photographing architecture and property, looking at the relationship between the building, its interiors, materials, light and surrounding environment. Rather than applying the same formula to every project, we adapt the photography to the character and purpose of the space.
Our ongoing work with Dowen Farmer Architects has included photography across multiple architectural projects, giving us experience documenting both completed developments and the details that make them distinctive.
For Tollington Development, our photography focused on the architecture and materiality of the project, including its brickwork, with the development subsequently featured in Architects' Journal. We also photographed Brunel Works, documenting the distinctive birch plywood elements within the project and creating imagery that could communicate the design in detail.
Our experience also extends beyond photographing completed buildings. We can document the people, processes and environments surrounding a project, creating a broader collection of visual content that can support an architectural practice's ongoing marketing and communications.
Our Real Estate Process
-
We begin by understanding the property, the project and how the photography will be used. We'll discuss the spaces that need to be documented, the intended audience and any specific architectural or design features that need particular attention.
-
Before the shoot, we'll consider locations, timings, natural light, weather, access and any preparation required within the property. For larger projects, we'll establish a shot list to make sure the final collection provides comprehensive coverage.
-
On location, we work carefully through the space, considering perspective, composition and light to create a balanced collection of images. Alongside wider views, we capture architectural details, materials, textures and smaller elements that contribute to the character of the project.
-
Selected images are professionally edited and colour graded to create a consistent final collection. We aim for a polished but natural finish that accurately represents the property without making it feel artificial.
-
Final imagery can be supplied in high-resolution and web-ready formats, depending on how the photographs will be used. We can provide organised collections suitable for websites, portfolios, publications, brochures and digital marketing.

Recent Architecture Photography Projects
Our architecture and property photography experience has developed through an ongoing relationship with Dowen Farmer Architects, documenting multiple projects and aspects of their practice.
Our work has included Tollington Development in North London, where photography focused on the building's architecture and distinctive brickwork, as well as Brunel Works, where we captured the project's use of birch plywood and the character of its interior spaces.
Alongside photographing completed architectural projects, we've also worked within the Dowen Farmer studio to capture their team and the processes behind their work. This provides a broader visual resource that can be used to communicate not just the finished architecture, but the people and thinking behind it.
This combination of project photography and behind-the-scenes content allows us to create imagery that supports an architectural practice across its portfolio, website, marketing and digital communications.
